Hi. Hello. I’ts me. You might not remember me, i’ve been so bad at updating my blog. But im back now (or at least for this post). So it’s 2018. I can’t believe how fast this and every year goes by. I suppose time flies when you are having fun. I just wanted to say thank you to everyone that made 2017 so amazing. Had a lovely time with my beautiful sister in Amsterdam, walking around the canals, dancing around the house with glasses of wine in our hands, getting a bit tipsy, gossiping or talking about our futures. Had a really fun summer with friends and family, drinking cocktails at the pool bar or sunbathing on the beach after work (aka drinking beers), and yummy barbeques on the balcony with family we don’t get to see much. Romantic date nights and adventurous road trips with the sweetest person i know. Thank you for everything Had an amazing time on my 2nd trip to Amsterdam in November, this time with my other amazing, cool sister (her words) and the cutest couple. It was so funny walking around the red light district, after maybe already having one too many beers. Also a little thanks to my boyfriend and his business partner at MD Photography for inviting me to Santorini for one of their photoshoots, its a place i have always wanted to visit and it definitely did not disappoint, i had a wonderful couple of days. Honestly, i may have to say that 2017 has been my best year yet.
So here’s to making 2018 and every single year after that AMAZING. Not just “oh it was a good year”. NO! I personally want every year to be more fun, more exciting than the last. That’s my goal! When we are old and wrinkly, we won’t remember how much weight we lost that one year or how many followers we gained on instagram, so stop making silly things like that a priority and start gaining real EXPERIENCES – get out there and live.
My 2018 goals/plans.
So i already have my trip to Italy booked for March. Thats one place about to be checked off my bucket list. I cant wait, im so excited AAHHH. Im going with my boyfriend and we have planned 3 nights in Rome, 3 nights in Florence and the last 2 nights in Naples where we fly back home from. I dont really have a list with things i want to see or do, i think we are just going to go with the flow, but definitely comment bellow if you have anything in mind you would consider a MUST.
My travel goal this year is to visit at least 3 destinations outside of Crete. Got the one booked so that leaves us with 2. Maybe another greek island at the start of the summer? I dont know yet but we will see depending on my €€€ and if i have anyone to go with. Saying that… Whoever wants to explore a greek island with me, message me
There is one thing i have in mind though… I would really love to treat my boyfriend to a trip somewhere in northern Greece where it snows a lot. Im imagining a warm, cozy little cabin with a fireplace and lots of soft blankets where we could just be lazy all day and night and just enjoy each others company. Okay too soppy, but feel free to comment any recommendations
Honestly, I havent really got any new years resolutions. Im just trying to be a better, healthier, happier version of myself.
Thanks again to everybody that makes my life so beautiful, im grateful for each and every one of you. I hope you achieve all of your goals for 2018 but don’t forget to have fun and put your phone down every once in a while and actually live in the moment.
Thank you for reading
